At MAHE Dubai the learning never stops, neither for students nor for teachers. With this in mind, a two-day Faculty Development Programme was held on the 9th & 10th of February, in order to train, as well as increase kinship among MAHE Dubai’s staff members.
The first day of the programme included sessions on topics ranging from Teaching & Learning processes to Diversity Inclusion.
The morning session was a dedicated workshop for faculty members on ‘Online Teaching and Learning Process’, held by Dr. David Holliman, Chairman of TQUK-MENA’s Board of Directors.
The workshop allowed for further insight into the learning process, and knowledge about developing and making use of tech advancements in teaching.
The afternoon session was an engaging workshop for all employees on ‘Cultural Diversity, Intelligence and Inclusion’, conducted by Ms. Sepideh Moussavi, a passionate Corporate Trainer and Culture Coach.
The workshop focused on bridging cultural gaps in multicultural workplaces and allowed for an increased awareness of cultural diversity and improving effective strategies for cross-cultural communication.
The second day of the programme featured specialized training workshops held by industry experts for each of the six schools at MAHE Dubai, customised to their respective curriculums and relevant industry.
The two-day programme ended on a positive note, illuminating advancements in teaching methods, enhancing interpersonal relations, as well as increasing industry-relevant knowledge and expertise. We thank each of our coaches and industry experts for their significant contribution towards our development programme that made it truly educative and successful. We also thank each of our staff members for their active participation in the programme, and for choosing to make the best of this opportunity in the true spirit of learning.
