Education. The one word that ensures growth. The one-word MAHE, Dubai stands by despite all odds. The Gulf Education and Training Exhibition (GETEX) attracted a huge crowd of aspiring students and hopeful parents to the fair.
Manipal’s brand change echoed throughout the whole stall. The stall of MAHE, Dubai turned heads, with its attractive orange and white personality. Buzzing with activity, the bright, quirky stall stayed true to MAHE, Dubai as the place to be. The staff, faculty, and volunteer were spearheaded by hard work and dedication.
The colorful bands, badges and stress balls attracted people of different age groups, who then interacted with our volunteers and faculty.
What does being Future Ready mean?
Cathy Jones, a prospective student said, “Being future ready means to be able to take on the world”. On the other hand, Mr. Kota Reddy, Academic President feels that holistically developing students make them ready for the future”.
All the 3 days were brimming with curious students and parents who were briefed on the courses they were interested in. Representatives from Manipal’s branch in Jaipur and the University of Antigua were also present.
“The response this year has been fantastic, I didn’t feel like I was on job, I had a lot of fun interacting with students and parents”, said Priyanka Pandey, an employee at the Admissions department.
Manipal never fails to wow the audience and they didn’t pull back this time too. A 1st year, MBA student, Vardhaman, wooed everyone with his skills in beatboxing. All the crazy activities were captured live on the Instagram and Facebook pages for those who couldn’t make it.
Overall, Getex 2018 was once again a success.
